Nordkapp, or North Cape, has a cliff as the northermost tip of Europe. The plateau we could view from sits more than 300 meters above the water and you would swear the wind kept trying to carry us to the sea.

Technically, a few other land masses exist to the north of this point, but no one drive to them, so we kid ourselves that this marks the spot.

The embroidery on the hat I purchased reads “71°10’21”N. According to my phone, I would have to hop a fence to gain the few more seconds north.

On one side of the cape, this fissure provides a good view of the distance between the plateau and the water.

On the way to the North Cape, we stopped at a native trading post. These reindeer antlers have a variety of uses, not just for decoration.
