This Is Country, Glam Country

My good friend texted me.

Good morning Sean. Are you around this morning?

Home, and curious, I responded affirmatively.

Good, I’m walking the dogs and I’ll stop by to drop something

About one week before this, we had a bunch of neighbors over to meet and greet the newest folks on our street. My friend says to me, “Hey, I have something coming for you. It should arrive next week.”

Okay, so that follows this. What arrived? Well, my friend’s son plays guitars for the band Glam Country, a country-folk-rock band from Portland, Oregon. They released their debut album that week (September 16) and the band signed a copy (100 pressed) for me.

I want to congratulate Glam Country on their release and thank my neighbor for expanding my record collection with an album I shall treasure.
