Lakeside House

One week in a two-bedroom lakeside cabin in The Lakes By Yoo, nestled in the Cotswolds region of England ended up just what the doctor ordered. It rained off and on for much of the week, which just made us slow down and enjoy the space. Ducks would camp out on our deck every afternoon, something fun to watch.

The ducks came by every afternoon, maybe just to check in on us.

We had family come stay a couple of nights with us. Turned out fun to work on some algorithmic programming challenges with a college student. Taking a break from writing code, we all went out for a beer by the Thames river.

Also in the community, they have a very nice pool and workout facility. The indoor pool has a nice view of the surrounding grounds.
