Back in Iceland

Back in 2018, we and another couple rented a car and drove the island. On this cruise, we pulled into three ports. First up, Akureyri.

This town’s traffic signals have heart patterns for the red lights. How cute.

We walked and walked and walked to the Lystigarðinum. Gonna say, not worth it. It was green. It was expansive. It was far from the port.

Close to port, a cluster of shops and eateries exists. This mural caught my eye.

I should have purchased My Pussy Is Hungry, a book of funny comic strips that I spotted at a book store. Why? Well, it had some funny entries. More importantly, it goes for $350 on Amazon!

Back Onboard

On Day 9 of the 22-day cruise, we finally took advantage of having a butler. We requested drinks and snacks. Why did we wait so long?

The kitchen prepared Indian food this night. The cooks had a good time laughing at my horrible Hindi.
