Ísafjörður

Ísafjörður
Iceland stop number two brought us to Ísafjörður. We probably should have joined an excursion, as walking the town did not provide much of an experience.

Views on the way in and out of the port were spectacular.

The local airstrip was interesting, right on the water. Planes have to snake between mountains in order to use the airport.

I have no idea what the water temperature was, but these kids enjoyed jumping in.

A yard full of boats: decoration or junk?

This walkway tunnel had some cool art painted on the walls.
Back on the Ship

Halfway through the cuise, I finally took a pic of the cruise ship.

One of the couples we met on the cruise actually lives on a cruise ship. They know the ins and outs of cruise life. So, they arranged for a custom Indian meal. People seated around us, smelling the delicious food, wanted to know how they could do similar.
